Recently, I have installed the Newscard theme on my WordPress website and have issues with the configuration of homepage.
The idea is to have the homepage serve as the ‘latest post’ page, without the link changing to for example domainname.com/latest-post.
A good example of that is the website of another member of the Theme Horse ‘community’: http://www.the5krunner.com
NOTE: If you pay close attention, his homepage is also his blogpage, BUT, the website’s url remains the same (i.e. the5krunner.com) and does not add a permalink and change to, for example, the5krunner.com/blog (or something relevant).
I have tried this in the WordPress settings, however, it is not possible to select the same page as both your homepage and latest post page.
How did http://www.the5krunner.com manage do to that without having a permalink?
