we don’t think there is a glitch in our new update. I think you have changed the css from editor which you are doing wrong. Because you must not customize the style.css. If you want to change it then you must make the child theme first and then customize whatever you want. Changing in the core file will lost the customization css. We always recommended not to change the core code if you change it then you must not update the new version.
