Sidebar option has disappeared on homepage — need help asap

I just copied my WordPress site to a new directory from the test directory. All is working fine … except when I tried to test a slider on the homepage, it made the sidebars disappear. Now, on the Edit Page menu, I can’t get any default options under the Sidebars box at the bottom right. I see options for Tags and Page Attributes, but no default and no way to add anything to the Sidebars box. I thought this was only a problem on the homepage, but there are no Sidebar options on any of the pages.

Can you help? This is a crucial week for the site. Thank you.

Hi Patricia,

While migrating to the new path there may be some database path issue. So you need to add it again. If anything is changed then the content in the sidebar you added is not displayed. So you need to add it again. Actually while migrating the path will be changed and if path changed then the sidebar your added content will not be displayed.
