Is it possible to add some static content at the top of Blog Image Medium template? For example to show some intro before showing blog posts (preferably page content)? This would be awesome! I don’t mind writing or hacking some php files but I’d need some place to start, but looking at the page-template-blog-image-medium.php tells me nothing 🙁

It needs code customization. So you need to hire a developer to fix it. If your are good at coding then we are using action hook this file is at theme folder -> inc -> structure -> content-extension.php
You can customize a code from this php file but we recommended you to create a child theme before making any code customization.
