Hi, I want to use this theme for a business website and I need to remove the “leave a reply” box that appears at the bottom of the pages. When creating pages I deselected the “comments” box and “discussion” box in the screen options, but I am still left with the leave a reply box. Please advise how I can get rid of this – even if I have to go into the editor php files. thanks
If you want to disable only certain page / post then go to particular page / post which you want to disable.
Click on screen options at right top of the page /post
Select the Discussion and comments so that it will display below the editor. You will be able to see like this. http://awesomescreenshot.com/0774aj8y55
Unselect both of them and it will not display the comment section.
First check the Discussion Option in the screen options at right top of the page/post so that the discussion box appears in all the post and page. And please see this screenshot
We have point out to unchecked the Allow comments option in the Discussion box that appears at the bottom of each and every page/post.
