Hi,
I have run into another issue.
I am trying to run bbPress forum AND blog posts at the same time. I require to:
– display all blog posts with a right menu (including search, category and tag widgets)
– display the blog page across the whole site, without the right menuI couldn’t figure out a way how to display achieve both of these requirements. I have selected the option with right menu sidebar as a default layout. This way it appears also on the forum page, where I don’t want it.
Do you have any suggestions?
My webpage is: http://www.greentee.cz

There is only one options to do this. First of all go to dashboard-> apperance-> theme options-> layout options-> content layout and select the no-sidebar full width. View this screen shot.
http://awesomescreenshot.com/0344m55dcdIf you link right side bar on the particular page/ Post then edit that page/ post and at the bottom of the editor you will see the layout options and select it to right side. This will effect only for particular page. And for rest of the page it will display no-sidebar full width except templates. View this screenshot.

Thank you!
March 14, 2015 at 6:22 pm #23099MichalParticipantI understand this, the only thing is the I use the right menu to list the categories of my posts. If I select a specific category, the right menu disappears. Is there also an option how to select a “right-siderbar” layout for displaying posts within a selected category? Thanks. Michal

We are sorry for this. Selecting a right-sidebar for displaying posts within a selected category. It needs code customization and you need to hire a developer to fix it.
Thank you!

a) default layout right sidebar + cutomize the layout of forum OR
b) default layout full width + customize the layout of the blog..?It might save me time.. Thanks! Michal

You just create a bbpress forum page and add shortcodes
[bbp-forum-index]
and leave it to default template. Then after select the page layout to full width is the best options to save time.Thank you!
