Hello,
I’d like to make the slider narrower – it is too high for my page. How can I change this setting? Also, how can I keep the image fixed within the slider? When I scroll up and down the page the slider moves up and down the image.
Thank you!

To make the slider narrow login to your admin site Go to the Appearance > Customize > Ambition Theme Options > Custom CSS paste the following CSS code and Click on Save and Publish button:
.featured-slider .featured-image { padding: 10% 0; }
And slider images are already stuck with the slider when you moves up and down this is a default built-in action.
If you are having issue with this please share your URL so that we can see the exact issue in you slider image.Thank you for using our theme.

Regarding the slider image scrolling – in your demo the slider image doesn’t scroll up and down at all – it is fixed:

We really want to achieve this as well. If your demo showed a scrolling slider we wouldn’t have purchased the theme. Please can you explain how we can get our slider to remain fixed when scrolling, as your demo does?

Thank you!
September 20, 2015 at 12:29 pm #28514JeremyParticipantOK, I’ve figured out that you are using slider revolution in your demo. As you don’t offer this now in your theme I suggest you remove it from your demo as it is misleading.
September 21, 2015 at 3:31 pm #28547Theme Horse Support TeamKeymasterHi Jeremy,
Sorry! Jeremy we are not misleading it we have used in the demos are purely for demonstration purposes, and are used to give the visitor a functional preview of what the theme will look like once content has been added. By the way we have attached it in previous version of the theme but according to WordPress.org policy Revolution Slider Plugin has been removed because of non GPL code.
Also the another main reason to remove it was that our customer are having difficulty to have a good support and auto update feature for the plugin.Anyways it seems that you have set the Slider Revolution Plugin in your site.
To make the image stick first go to the main slide settings and set the background image for the individual slide and set the background fit option to cover and background position option to center center as shown in this screenshot.Also if you have purchased the Slider Revolution you will now get dedicated support from main author here and also you will get auto update feature too.
Thank you!
