Comments Field

    I recently noticed that the Leave a Comment field has disappeared from my blog posts. In WordPress, I have the discussion settings set up to allow readers to post comments. But at the bottom actual post, there is no field to leave a comment. Please advise. Thanks.

    Hi kim1,

    Recently the WordPress default comment settings is off. So you need to on it individual. Goto specific post and at the top of the page click on screen options. Select Discussion. View below screenshot.

    Thanks for your response. I had checked that before I posted in this forum. Discussion is turned on for my posts. And it is also turned on in the Discussion Settings as well. A comment field used to be displayed at the end of each post. Now each post only displays the Author, Date, Category and the Number of Comments. If the Number of Comments is clicked, the field to leave a comment is displayed. Any other thoughts you have would be appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi Kim,

    Are you talking about Blog single post or Blog post. If you are logged in then you will only see leave a comment. To be visible all form as name, email, website, comment then you have to logged out.
    Also could you provide your site Url too.
