Yes, it works now. I figured out the issue. Under No of slides I had put in 1 and the controls show. But when I enter 2 or more slides then the controls disappear!

In Customiser – Banner Settings – what does it mean by show banner on home and post page? How is this supposed to work? Does it mean there will be a banner slider in the posts page as well or it will show only the featured image as a banner?
