Customer area plugin – custom post type

    Hi, I’ve installed Customer Area plugin which uses custom post type for its private pages. However for private pages I want a single-column layout, and there is no option to choose the layout on the edit page dashboard. So I get the default 2-column layout which I have on my website.

    Is this something you can help me with, at least tell me where I can adjust it? The plugin authors can’t do anything about it and say it’s a theme feature. I am not a programmer so please be gentle with coding explanation if it’s needed. Thank you!

    @Petra Yes the layouts are the feature included in the theme but it will not work post types introduced due to plugins. For this the only way is to set the single-column layout in the theme options so the the pages of new post type will also be single column.
    Then for the other post/pages you can set the layout individually https://www.themehorse.com/theme-instruction/attitude-pro/#specificlayout. However, this could be tiring but it is the only way. Other way is to hire a developer as it will be like a new feature request.

    Thanks – yes I thought about changing all pages back to single column and then individually setting them back, but since I have 50-60 posts and pages it would be a bit of a chore. I just wanted to make sure there was no other easier option.

    @Petra Yes, for now it is the only option.
