I would like to change the title and tagline that appear on my blog page. Or even delete them and replace them with an image. Is this possible?

@lillianduggan In the dashboard, go to Appearance->Theme Options->Design Options Tab->Custom Header. There you can upload a header logo image, check on show header logo only option and click on ‘Save all Changes’.

Thanks for writing back, but what I need to do is have a separate header for my blog page ONLY. I have a regular web site with several pages, one of which is a blog. I want the blog to have a title that is different from the title that appears on the other pages. Can I do this?

@lillianduggan That will need the code customization. So, you may need to hire a developer on this one.
