Customize colors on homepage for Page texts, and recent posts at side bar

    Hi, I have added recent posts as a side bar. However, its color is grey (so dull and i would like to change that). Same applies section of posts texts visible in the categories. All these are happenning at the homepage. Kindly help me with the additional CSS or how to go about it.

    my website is http://www.silvannews.com

    Kindly open it and check Homepage. Scroll down (Dont open at the menu bar) to any of these sections; Politics/ Must Read at the right side bar/Religion/ Sports.

    As you can see, the title are black and legible. I am okay with that. However, the text seen from each article, around four lines, are in different color ( I Guess grey). That is not well legible for me and i want to change it. I want it to be black. Kindly advise. Thanks.
