Hi,
Thanks for your quick response. Just want to clarify, to make sure I communicated clearly what I’m trying to do:

1. Static page as homepage. That static page has a slider.
2. Separate page (not the homepage) for blog posts.
3. Do not want the posts from the homepage slider to appear as posts on the blog page – would like to exclude them.

Are you saying that the settings in the theme cannot do this, and that I would need to customize the code to make this happen?

If so, do you provide this service, and how would I get a cost estimate?

P.S. I tried the plug-in, Ultimate Category Excluder, but it seemed to exclude the posts from both the homepage and the blogpage, so that I ended up without a slider on my homepage – not good!
