How to get ‘Last Updated On’ instead of original published on date

Hi to all members,

This side Suraj, I’m using Newscard theme for my blog, It’s working well.

When I update my existing post, it shows the original published date instead of the last update date.

Please, anyone, help me with how I can achieve ‘last updated on’ date for the post I update.

I’ve tried with function.php in the theme editor, but it didn’t work for NewsCard Theme.

Thanks for letting me know about this plugin, the last updated date is showing with this plugin.
