In reply to: Attitude Pro Upgade Instructions
Theme Horse Support TeamKeymasterHi rdorsey,
If you want to upload the attitude theme in your domain via ftp then logon to ftp and go under public_html -> wp-content -> themes -> and unzip the attitude-pro zip file and drag/drop the attitude-pro folder under themes.
After it goto dashboard -> appearance -> themes (you will see the attitude pro theme and activate it.)If you think that it’s really difficult then you can also even try another method.
Go to goto dashboard -> appearance -> themes -> Click on upload themes and install the attitude-pro.zip folder. Doing from there you don’t need to unzip the folder and activate it.Note: If you have existing attitude-pro theme installed in your dashboard then first activate any other theme and delete it. Then after you can upload themes. First make a confirm that you have not customised any code. If you are using child theme and no code customisation in theme then your data will not be lost. If there is direct code customisation then all your customised code will be lost. So backup your file before taking any action
Thank you!

Theme Horse Support TeamKeymasterHi
Do you mean changing here is not taking an effect? I have just tested it and its working fine. You mean background color options or background image? Once select the color and save it. Then check it on front end whether it works or not. If you have still an issue then first of all deactivate all the plugins that you have installed in your dashboard one by one. And also did you made any code customization on the theme?
If there is no any code customiztion and backgroud image and color options does not work then Email Us your temporary username and password. Please don’t post your password on this forum too and also provide this forum link on email.
Thank you!

Theme Horse Support TeamKeymasterHi Robert,
If you have not made any code customization then no worry about the content loss. First make a backup of old version of your theme. Then you can activate any other theme and delete the current theme from dashbaord -> appearance -> themes (delete ultimate pro theme)
After doing it, install the new version of ultimate pro theme zip file and activate it. Doing it settings will not be lost.
Thank you!

Theme Horse Support TeamKeymasterHi lemonpath,
Yes,Why don’t you try removing this Custom CSS too? You can make a backup of it, remove it and test it. There may be some conflict with plugins too. So you need to deactivate the plugins and check whether your problem solves or not. Deactivating plugins, i don’t think you will lose some thing. If deactivating also doesnot works then reactivate the same plugins.
For the test method just download a clean-retina-pro theme and unzip the folder. change the filename of it and also change the theme name on style.css too. Again zip that theme and install and activate it. If this solves the problem then there is something issues on your current active theme.
As also there may be some scripts on widgets too. So check it and try removing it also. There is no other way than this. You may also try this in your local environment using
mamp
(for mac) orxaamp or wamp
(for windows)Thank you!

I have cleaned up my plugins but I am reluctant to deactivate some of them such as my subscribers list. I did some changes to my css file, could this be the problem.

Kind regards
MagnusTheme Horse Support TeamKeymasterHi tjmarx73,
Did you tried activating twenty fifteen or twenty sixteen themes? Once you activate twenty fifteen or twenty sixteen themes and check it whether the same problem occurs or not?
Thank you!
tjmarx73ParticipantNo customization done. Did deactivate plugin. But, that did not work. I reinstalled wordpress no change. Also, installed another theme and activated it. Then delete Ultimate. In turn around, reinstalled and activated Ultimate and problem still continued. Here’s what I do…..
-dashboard
-pages
-all pages
-pick a page
-edit page
– what I see is blank white box with edit tools on top, no response when cursor is in box when putting cursor on white box.Theme Horse Support TeamKeymasterHi Irit,
Did you made and code customization or added any scripts or any CSS? If not then first deactivate all the plugins that you have installed in your dashboard and recheck it once. If still same problem then trying updating a new version of WordPress. Because we are not facing any issues that you are talking about. If still there is an issue then let us know.
Some times due to slow internet connection too this problem will occur.
Thank you!
