Hi,

I have my homepage set to full width and have set it up just like your demo for now, but for some reason everything on your homepage nice and large and take up most of the page so there is less white space… well my site looks like very small all the icons/images everything very small..I have all of the images the same size as yours I even put in your demo images to make sure of it. But everything still looks tiny like the page is really zoomed out. Is there a setting or something I need to change?

Hi there. My site is essentially a landing page site – but I didn’t want to use the Business Page template because the method of incorporating everything with widgets doesn’t really work with building the kind of site I want. So I have used the Default template. My only issue is that the page title shows at the top of the page and I don’t want it to. And although the title is blank, there is still a big white space below the slider where the title would be and I don’t want that blank space. How do I remove it?

Thank you! We are probably going to buy the Pro version anyway…that did not work, since hgroup is above our banner…we need the navbar below our banner 🙁 BUT…it did fix the problem of white space above the banner, so thanks for that 🙂

Hi guys, I sorted that out and the new version is working mostly. There are just a couple of problems.

1. The forum root page (http://www.experttabletennis.com/forums/) goes a bit funny and loses the title banner that is on every other page. I can fix this by creating a different forum root page and pasting in the shortcode for the forum (http://www.experttabletennis.com/academy/). However if you go into any particular forum or topic (http://www.experttabletennis.com/forums/forum/post-videos/) the “forums” root page is still the one displayed in the breadcrumbs along the top, so if anyone wants to go back to the root page they will click the breadcrumb link and be taken to the faulty forum root page and be a little confused.

2. If you look at the layout of the topic on a page (http://www.experttabletennis.com/forums/forum/post-videos/) you’ll see that there is a white space along the left hand side of the box. I don’t think this should be there and I’m not sure what is causing it. I think the grey or white background for each topic should go the whole way along to the border on the left as it does at the right hand side of the box.

If you could help me with these two issues I’d really appreciate it. It certainly looks like it isn’t far off working correctly now.

Hello,

I have an issue with the menu on iPhones. If I use more than one level in the menu, I have to scroll down (lots of white spaces) on the iPhone to see the next sublevel item of a menu.
The first levels of the menu are as they should be, right underneath each other.
Any ideas?

Its due to the size of your image. At the top of image there is white space so you saw the image below the menu. You may use dashboard-> apperance=> header
from here you can change the image at the top and put image.

Hi,

I’ve been playing around with the Attitude Free theme. I may go Pro, but only if there are features I need, which I’m not 100% of yet.

With that said, I wanted my theme to have a header image, but completely remove the top bar in which the Title (and any social or search icons appear) completely. My testing site is http://www.mysporks.ca. You can see I header image but want to completely remove the bar where those greyed out social links are, so there is no whitespace there.

Can anyone assist? I’m having a hard time doing this within the CSS, if even possible.

To decrease the excessive white space height in the header area Go to Appearance -> Theme Options -> Design Options Tab -> Custom CSS paste the following CSS code and Click on save all changes button:

.hgroup-wrap {
    padding-bottom: 21px;
    padding-top: 0;
}

I have a few divs and other elements on certain pages that I need to be full-width, exactly like the “home slogan.”
They are being restrained at the sides, leaving white space to the left and right. How can I fix this?

I want to remove the white space above the header and found this thread on the topics:
