Topic: white space
Hi,
This is a great theme, thank you!
My website is justalittlefurther.com
I was wondering if it was possible to tighten up the spacing in the widgets? For example, there is quite a bit of space between the search box and the search button in the search widget.
Also, is it possible to narrow the white space on either side of the blog. I chose the wide layout option, but can I make it even wider without distorting it?
Finally, is it possible to add something (some kind of line, maybe) that will show up between each widget so it’s easier to tell where one ends and the other begins?
Thank You,
GentryI would like to decrease the size of the margins for tablet displays so the content and right sidebar have more space.
Using this widget on our front page of the site and I would like the images to be shorter, but still the same width. I thought I had it figured out, but they have reverted back to the original size. Can you tell me where in the code I can change this?
I need to tighten up the white space between the slider area and this area, too. Is that in the same vicinity? Thanks!
Dear all,
I would like to remove the white space on the left side of my logo so the logo is on the same vertical line as my home icon (i.e., remove the spoace from the block my logo is in). Here is my page:Here is my CSS code for the header:
/* =Header ----------------------------------------------- */ #branding { margin-top: 30px; } .hgroup-wrap { padding-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; } .hgroup-wrap a { display: block; } #site-logo { float:left; margin-top: 0px; } #site-title { font: 36px 'Philosopher', sans-serif; line-height: 0px; } #site-title a { color: #555; } #site-title a img { vertical-align: inherit; width: 500px;/*original max-width: 978px */ height:auto; } #site-title a span, #site-title a:hover, #site-title a:focus, #site-title a:active { color: #05a9c5; } #site-description { font: 13px 'PT Sans', sans-serif; /*original 13*/ line-height: 20px; /*original 20*/ color: #777; } .hgroup-right { float: right; margin-top: 38px; }
I hope I could explain my problem.
Thank you for your help!
Best regards,
Christian
Hi there.
Is there an easy way to loose all the white space around the logo and turn it into a classical banner?
