Hi,

I updated the interface free theme today to 1.0.5 which, as I’ve found before wipes out my changes to the style sheet (accent colours change and changes to the header 6 font). I went to the dashboard to access the style sheet through Appearances>Editor but Editor has disappeared.

I’m wondering if this is a glitch in the new update or something else has happened. I’ve done the whole disable plugins, change browser, clear cache suggestions but with no luck. Any advice?

I’m super new to wordpress so you may need to spell it out as plainly as possible!

we don’t think there is a glitch in our new update. I think you have changed the css from editor which you are doing wrong. Because you must not customize the style.css. If you want to change it then you must make the child theme first and then customize whatever you want. Changing in the core file will lost the customization css. We always recommended not to change the core code if you change it then you must not update the new version.

Ok thanks for getting back to me, I’m very new to this so i appreciate the advice. I’ve still not got access to the editor though so I can’t make changes anyway!
