I really browsed all topics and explored all options, but I dont get my blog to show the full content option. The comments here on changing something in settings>reading sound odd to me as those functions do not exist in my wordpress (maybe since its a new version?), it does look like this: http://codex.wordpress.org/Settings_Reading_Screen There it mentions this: “any Template assigned the Page will be ignored and the theme’s index.php (or home.php if it exists) will control the display of the posts.” So I also checked the index template, which actually looks exactly the same as the full content blog template (except for the name tag). Gettin desperate, help would be appreciated. I’m talking about this page: http://www.vaticananalog.com/blog/
As I said in my post, I read all of that multiple times. The frustrating part is that setting the page template on full content doesn’t work, it keeps showing the short summary with read on..
@basv It looks like you have set the blog page from Settings->Reading–> posts page. Unset the page there and please follow the above instruction one more time and see if this time you get it correct. If not then send us your temporary username and password via our contact page (NOT HERE) and we will set it for you.
