    Hello,

I have my slideshow working fine but I don’t want to have the slides linked to the underlying pages. Is there some simple way to disable those links? I’ve looked through the theme dashboard but don’t see anything obvious.

    Please advise / thanks!

Running WordPress 3.8 and Attitude (free) with child theme.

@sw23185 You can visit this link https://www.themehorse.com/support-forum/topic/removing-links-on-featured-slider/. Though this is for our other theme Clean Retina but the process is almost same. Hope discussion in this thread will help you.

    Thanks for the response!

I’ve reviewed the thread that you suggested and figured out how to make the same change in Attitude. For others that want to make this mod in the future it’s helpful to know that the attitude_featured_post_slider function that you need to replicate/modify is actually in the header-extensions.php file and *not* the functions.php file (where you might expect it to be).

Tt would be a nice feature for a future release of Attitude if the slideshow page/post links were something that you could control via a checkbox in the theme’s ‘Featured Post/Page Slider Options’ dialog …
