I have changed page attributes and nothing seems to work. slider is appearing on blog page. won’t show a widget. I have selected blog page w/right side bar widgets and I see a blog roll with no images below the slider.

Hi suzettecotto,

Go to dashbaord-> pages -> (blog page which you have set it from settings-> reading -> front post / page display)
edit your blog page and at the right side there is template (select the template)
which blog page you want to display (blog image large, blog medium image or blog full content)
select any one of them and update it.

Hi! I’m having the same issue within the last few days, and the blog page is ignoring my settings. The template I have selected is Blog Image Large. The Layout I have selected is Right Sidebar. I’ve also checked the theme options to make sure “Enable on All Page” is not selected under the slider options.

Regardless of these settings, the page continues to display the slider at the top of the page, and there is no sidebar.

Ok go to dashboard -> settings -> readings and set up this section.
Front page -> (you home page)
Post Page -> (–select–) Do not select your blog page. here
