Please go to ‘Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS’ and paste the below Custom CSS Code.

I found another section of the theme that I am having trouble trying to figure out where I can change the color.

At the bottom where you have the links to the previous and next post I would like to change the BG color from white to black.
