Probably missing something very basic but….
1) if the first image of a slider is clicked, I get a “404” error message; a click all other images in the slider has no impact
2) if a header image on any page is clicked, the user is returned to the home page.

For each of these, nothing should happen if an image is clicked. How can this be managed?

Update… The 404 error is corrected. Still looking for solution for preventing redirect to home page when page header image clicked.

Yes the header image will be redirected to the home page and its a WordPress default core feature.
