ok, I have deleted the theme, and I have downloaded attitude pro 1.7 to my desktop. Now when I try to upload the only zip file in there (revslider.zip) I get this message:
“Installing Theme from uploaded file: revslider.zip
Unpacking the package…Installing the theme…
The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
Theme install failed.”
What am I doing wrong!!??

for Naresh and illianduggan
If you have not customise any code then you are safe to upgrade our new version and the content will not be lost. But if you have customise the code then ofcourse you may loose the code.Just goto the dashboard -> appearance -> themes
First activate any theme twentyfourteen or twenty twelve or any theme you have in your dashboardThen click on theme and at the right side there is delete options. Then you may delete the theme.

I totally agree with you.
We are getting very shoddy support (or lack of it) for a paid product. Themehorse team must post step-by-step instructions for dealing with it in plain understandable English.
If we don’t get a satisfactory solution I suggest we take to their twitter feed @theme_horse to complain.
September 18, 2014 at 3:10 pm #16243JolieParticipantI’m flabbergasted and concerned about the comment that if I’ve made any modifications to the theme, when I update/install I will lose all that???? I spent HOURS doing that. The last update came via the Dashboard and didn’t cause issues. Why can’t it be done that way versus having to start from scratch on an install?
September 19, 2014 at 12:02 am #16261kikicuisineMemberI can’t seem to find the download area anywhere, I can see where I paid and I do have the subscription. Could we get clearer instructions on where this is located?
September 19, 2014 at 3:23 am #16269ehugh045MemberYou shouldn’t lose your content as long as you didn’t re-code anything you’ll be okay. I switched to attitude free before deleting attitude premium and then loading the updated theme. I lost nothing so you should be fine!
In order to de-activate, go to themes, and hover over your current theme, a de-activate button should appear. Once de-activated, do the same thing and click theme options: click on delete (bottom right corner). Then you can add the new theme that you’ve downloaded from this website.

September 19, 2014 at 7:28 am #16292PhilippMemberI Don´t have a downlaod button and a active subscription!
Can u please activate the download in my account!!September 20, 2014 at 7:28 pm #16349PamelaParticipantI’m getting the same error messages and tried to update theme but like many others, it failed. I’m using a child theme so my Attitude Pro is NOT active, my child theme is active. Dang, I sure don’t want to lose my content. Can you post an UPDATE rather than having us delete the theme and reinstall? As a novice, I’d be much more comfortable with that!!! Thanks
