Hi,

I’m having a problem with uploading featured images with posts (it responds with ‘An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.’) and I noticed that quick edit forces the columns to collapse. The media library also doesn’t load when I click to upload a featured image from a post.

I read somewhere that this may be an ajax issue? I switched to TwentyFifteen theme and everything worked fine. I’m running WordPress 4.2.4 so I don’t know if that has anything to do with it either?

Any help you can give me would be much appreciated.

Hi rogan,

We are not facing any problem on image upload. We have not added any ajax code too. First of all deactivate all the plugins that you have installed in your dashboard and upload the image whether same problem occurs or not.

And also increase the memory limit inside wp-config.php file and also .htaccess file. If still problem persuits then contact to your server to increase the memory limit. After that too still you are getting the issue then let us know.

Hi guys,

I went back and checked everything, I added a .htaccess file because one didn’t exist, but I still had issues with everything going to 500 internal server errors as well as header issues with pluggable.php

So I decided to set the wp-config and functions file back to default, then deleted the .htaccess I had created, and that managed to get everything working again. Very strange because I hadn’t changed anything in them that I can recall. Either way it’s back up and working again!

I appreciate the theme and quick support, really makes life a lot easier.
