Hi,
So I am just wanting the Home Page to display the slide show, but it is also popping up on my blog page. Is there a way to exclude it from the blog page?

Hi Jordan,

Go to Dashboard > setting > reading > Front Page Display option then do not select any page in the post page option.
You can see the screenshot here
You can set the post page via the page template from the right side of the page editor.
