I’m struggling to find a widget section to add a “contact me” “categories” and “recent posts” to implement in the footer at the bottom with my copyright. It appeared on the demo before I bought the pro version and needed some guidance on where to find the footer menu.

Hello @chris-monti,

WordPress released a new version with new editor as a widget settings.
You can disable those feature and get the standard edit setting by activating this plugin.
Just activate it and you will see the same settings for widgets as previous.
