hi, i bought the Ultimate pro theme in order to use the gallery. Unfortunately the functionality is very poor and buggy. how can i produce sets of pics? only 1 pic is shown (1/1), but I want to produce sets of pictures that can be clicked through forward and backward.
The biggest problem is a bug: the menu is overlaying the picture, e.g. on iPad. Can you solve the problem quickly? In this state the gallery is unusuable. What professional gallery plugin would you suggest?

for over one week I wait for the fix of the bug!! Do you that call a good support? I don’t think so…
The z-index of the menu bar is not correct so that it overlaps the picture. the gallery is not usuable in this state.
further more, if you use tags in the gallery, these key words are not usuable in the tag cloud. every click on a tag leeds to an 404 error or to an empty blog entry.

We have updated our new version 1.0.1 of Ultimate Pro. Please login to our site and download the update file. We have fixed Gallery issues but about the gallery tag keywords there is some issue. We will research it and update it as soon as possible. For now please use any other name except gallery.

thanks for fixing the first bug with z-index and fancybox forward/backward buttons. Good 🙂

The bug with the tags is very important to be fixed.
Is it correct, that you can only have ONE page with a gallery on it? That doesn’t make sense. I want to create different pages with differnet galleries, e.g. a menu item ‘Churches’ with only pictures of churches.
In this state of the theme, only 1 gallery can be created, basing on the 3 gallery templates.

The bug with the tags must base on language errors. If I create a

gallery page

, the URL is http://xyz.de/gallery/…
If I create a

standard page

with a gallery template, the generated URL is http://xyz.de/galerie/…/

The translation of the word ‘gallery’ to the German word ‘galerie’ is not located in the PO-file but normal WordPress translation.
So it must be a bug of your theme.

In the gallery header with the different categories you use the word ‘All’ which must be translated in other languages, too. Can you put this in the PO-File? Otherwise, the code must be adopted.

With these gallery bugs, I cant’t bring my side to life. I would appreciate if you fix the errors soon.

hi Kai,

We have code our gallery category in only one page with two, three and four Column template.
To have a different pages with different galleries it needs code customization. It’s a additional extra features. So you need to hire a developer to have a different pages with different galleries. We don’t create .po file, Only what we do is we create .pot file which helps you to translate it in your language. You have to create .po and .mo file with all translated language.
As you can see in ultimate.pot file where it is translation ready
For word All and gallery the first letter is capital (Gallery) it is already presence in .pot file

When do you fix the problems with tags?
The tagging-function is not usable in gallery and results in 404-errors.
