Hi.. Great Premium theme so far, thank you!

I am trying to hide specific categories like, ‘newsletter, editors pick, etc.’ from the sidebar widget.

I’ve tried the Ultimate Category Excluder (plugin) and it doesn’t work.

Is it true ALL Categories must show? Categories are used for so many functions. Even if for hiding only subcategories, I could live with.

Can you help please?

A thought… Perhaps to hide categories that start with a unique character?

No worries, after all.. This CSS worked (on determining the category id). In my case, 46:

.cat-item-46, .cat-links-46 {
	display: none;
}

Hi Dianne Clark,

We are Sorry for the Late response due to some unavoidable circumstances.

Categories cannot be hide just by providing Categories Name, Every Categories have an unique Category ID and we have to hide categories from the help of Categories IDs through Custom CSS as the CSS Code you have mentioned.
