Hi I am using a static front page and blog page and I have set the slider up but it is appearing at the top of the blog page too. How do I stop it from doing this?

Hi jgossy,

If you don’t want slider in your blog page then goto dashboard-> setting-> reading, Leave it as blank. View this screenshot.

Then go to dashboard-> pages(blog page that you have set it from reading) -> edit it and at the right side of the page there is an template. Select blog image large to display your blog image. View this below screenshot

So that your slider will only display on your front/ home page not in the blog page.

Hi when I do this the posts I have made for the slider appear in the blog roll. How do I hide the slider posts in the blog while displaying them on the slider only?

This will only effect only in you home page/ front page. We have designed our theme this way.View this screenshot to exclude from slider.
