Hi,

The single.php template in the Ultimate Free theme displays the post title and category twice (example here:
https://www.themehorse.com/preview/ultimate/perfect-responsive-view/)

It seems this is done within:
do_action( ‘ultimate_main_container’ );

but I don’t see where to customize that in functions.php

I would like to customize or even remove the second occurrence of category/title, i.e. the part that also displays the post author and date, just above the body of the blog post.

Our Country Nepal is devastated due to the massive EarthQuake so we are very much sorry for late reply.

We recommended not to change the code because if you change the code then while updating to our new version all your customisation code will be lost. So better make child theme and first unhook the functions and the edit the code.

The file is inside theme folder(ultimate)-> inc -> structure-> content-extension.php. There is a function for single.php so you may edit the code inside this page.
