ParticipantI am using the Attitude Pro theme. I would like to update the text on my landing page blog.raybulson.com just below my photo on the right. When I go to edit the blog page in WP I get a blank editor as if I am creating the page for the first time. I do not see any existing content. I realize that part of the content is dynamic (the blog posts), but where do I edit the static content?

KeymasterHi rbulson,
Actually, the area you are mentioning is the widget area. You have to go to the respective widget on the widget area so that you can edit the content or add and remove the widgets.
To go to the Widget area you can go to ‘Appearance > Widget’ or ‘Appearance > Customize > Widgets’ and for your site you can go to the ‘Right Sidebar’ Widget area.
Thanks

ParticipantHi @rbulson,
You’re encountering a common issue with WordPress themes like Attitude Pro that use dynamic templates for blog pages. What you’re seeing—an empty editor—is expected because WordPress typically assigns a Posts Page that dynamically loads your blog posts, rather than containing static content you can edit directly in the editor.
To edit the static content (like the text below your photo), follow these steps:
Check the Widgets Area
Go to Appearance > Widgets in your WordPress dashboard. Many themes (including Attitude Pro) use widgets in the sidebar or homepage sections. Look for a “Text” or “Custom HTML” widget in the Right Sidebar or Homepage Widget Areas. This is likely where your static text lives.Use the Customizer
Navigate to Appearance > Customize, then explore sections like Widgets, Homepage Settings, or any custom theme sections labeled by Attitude Pro. You might find a field there for editing static text near your profile photo.Page Builder or Theme Options Panel
Some themes have their own theme options panel or use page builders like Elementor or WPBakery. Check under Appearance > Theme Options or edit the homepage directly if it’s a static page.As a side note, I recently updated my own landing page where I featured a blue lambskin leather jacket photo—it gave the section a sleek, polished look. So I totally get wanting to fine-tune those static elements for better visual appeal!
