How to hide footer widget column 1 – 2 – 3 on all pages except main page

I have the option of hiding/displaying the footer columns on one site, but not on another site. When I click the “synlighet” button as marked with red circle on screenshot below I can set the columns to display/hide on different pages (“synlighet” is “visibility” in Norwegian).

Here’s the same options on another site with the same theme – no “synlighet” (“visibility”) button.

Any pointers in the right direction how to get the visibility button to display is appreciated. Thanks.

I just realized, this show/hide function is not theme related but instead a function added with the Jetpack plugin:
