I would like to remove Theme By: Theme Horse and Powered By: WordPress in the footer. I don’t have much experience with WordPress. I’ve gone to the Editor and clicked on Footer, but am not seeing how to remove these words. Thanks for any help!

Hi Carlene,

You just go to the dashboard -> appearance -> theme options -> advance options -> edit footer options.

From there you can edit the footer text.

I tried following the instructions above and there is no ” edit footer options” within the Advance Options tag. I am currently stuck with the my website showing “Theme by: Theme Horse Powered by: WordPress” at the bottom and no way to remove it. 🙁

Hi eden,
Just go to the dashboard -> appearance -> theme options -> advance options -> edit footer options

From here you can edit “Theme by: Theme Horse Powered by: WordPress”.

Again, there is no “Edit Footer Options” there. Underneath my Advance Options tab are two options: “Home Slogan Options” and “Homepage Blog Category Settings” and within those two are still no “Edit Footer Options” Do I have an old version of Theme Horse? I have version 1.2.

While posting the post in forum please post the forum in specific topic. This forum is of clean retina Pro but you are sending a link of interface free. You need to post this forum topic under the interface not here in clean retina.

We don’t have this footer edit options in free version. This feature is only available in Pro version.
