If I purchase a theme do I get the updates automatically like with free themes?

I am concerned regarding two things: the easy of update, I do expect to get updates the same way I am getting for free themes, so no manual uploads of manual click (theme auto-update can be enabled in WP)

Also, something is quite unclear regarding theme update: “theme lifetime”, how would you define theme lifetime.

To be correct you should declare that you are going to support a them for at least a number of years/months, or having an earliest EOL date. This would make it easier for the clients to decide if they want to invest or not.

@sorin The updates for our pro themes is not similar to that of free themes (One click update). When there is update for our pro theme we will get a notification in the submenu under the Home menu in the dashboard. The instruction will also be there on how to update it. For the update you will have to either re install the theme via the Appearace->Themes->Install or via ftp. For our pro theme currently these are the only way.
