This feature is not available in free version. This text is from the excerpt length. If you change excerpt word then this will be applied for all the text too.
IF our pro version you may even use a featured image slider too.

In theme option, Featured Post/Page Slider >> Slider Options ….

select radio button — OFF (Slider Content will not be display
