OI have read the Theme Instruction. In fact I have spent a good deal of time designing my site, and am now, after getting very confused with all the options, reasonably happy with the Home page.
One thing remains though: For appearance sake I have the name of my company as the primary slogan. Is it possible to have the company’s logo next to it? It’s the one that appears next to my name on this post.
If that is not possible, where else at the top of the page can I have this logo?

Sorry this is not available in our theme. It needs code customization. You have to hire a developer to fix this issue.

it is not available in the header?
It is not available in either of the two slogan areas?
What about anywhere else at the top of the home page?

Yes it is at the side of the menu.
Please go to dashboard-> apperance -> theme-options-> design-options-> custom-header -> header logo
You are able to add the header logo from here.
