Hello, I have MagCast Pro – very happy with it so far, thank you!
I have created the home page carousel slider successfully. However, I would like the posts to rotate. Is this possible please? Thanks

Are you trying to rotate four highlighted post which is displayed as grid? If yes then its not possible.
If you are try to rotate post id instead of page id then yes you can add it.
Thank You!

I am trying to rotate the caousel slider automatically, when displaying posts. Using the arrows, I can rotate the posts – but would like this to happen automatically.
Is that possible?
thanks

To automatically rotate the slider you have to customize the code just open theme folder(magcast-pro) -> owlcarousel -> owl-carousel-settings.js file and add below code on line no. 6 and 17
autoplay: true, autoplayTimeout: 2000, autoplayHoverPause: true,
Thank you!

I don’t know how to find it
Thanks very much

When you download the zip file of magcast. Unzip it. Open that folder . There you will see Owncarousel folder again. Open it again. Inside that folder there is carousel-settings.js file . add the above code on line no 6 and 17. After changing it again zip that folder and install it again. If there is already installed magcast pro theme then delete previous theme and install customized theme zip folder.
Next process:
Also you can do it via ftp. Go to public_html/wp-content/themes/magcast-pro/owlcarousel/owl-carousel-settings.js and edit that file on line no 6 and 17 and add above code.Thank you!

I have just bought, downloaded and installed the Magcast-pro theme.
Really liked the layout with a main setup with one large photo and the four photos to the right.I have followed the instructions in the documentation, but hava not been able to make the same setup.
My setup just includes the parts below the main area (the area with one large photo and the four photos to the right). What to do?

But with a “Magazine/News WordPress Theme” I was expecting, that it would automatically “pick up” the latest post (news).
If that is not possible, I will not be able to use the theme (and the theme should not be called a magazine/news them).(When I tried your sollution, the photo’s are not automatically (as it does with the NewsCard Pro, which I use for another page)

August 6, 2019 at 12:40 pm #66289Theme Horse Support TeamKeymasterHello Dennis,
MagCast theme slider works on posts IDs whereas NewsCard theme works on Latest Post/Categories. Our themes have different features and settings and not similar to each other.
For to set the image according to the MagCast theme you need to regenerate your images, you can use this plugin to regenerate the images.Thank you!
