Hi –
For the mail link in social icons – I’m assuming the correct way is mailto:[email protected] In Chrome, however, I’m noticing that although it is correctly opening my mail client, it’s also opening a blank browser window!

It seems this is an issue with Chrome (here is a Windows-related link as an example of an issue with mailto links and Chrome…. I’m on a mac, but maybe the pc type doesn’t make a difference…. http://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/chrome/qkkTRdWGf9w)

Is there any way to avoid this extra window being opened? I can always use a regular mail link instead of the SocialIcons system within the Attitude Theme, but I notice any link I hard-code in the header-extensions (using the child theme method in functions.php) do not go to the bottom of the window when the site is viewed on a phone or similar devices. (the regular social media icons go down to the end of the page, but an icon I’ve added stays up top.)

@jackie7 The social links in our theme are set to open in a new browser. We will replicate this issue in our testing environment and we will back to you on this one once we come up with anything. Thanks for the feedback as we previously did not know about this issue.
