I can see the site on my phone but the menu drop down doesn’t work – it changes it to mobile friendly menu which should expand / collapse.

Hi daniMac,
I think there is responsive off to view in your mobile. Go to dashboard -> apperance -> theme- options -> layout options -> responsive layout
Click on ON button. Then you will be able to see the responsive view.
