Hey there,

I want to display a sidebar on the Woocommerce site.
So i take some widgets into the “left sidebar widget area”.
Then i set “left sidebar layout” on the page settings.
So far so good.
But the left sidebar is NOT displayed on the shop site!

If i switch on the left sidebar layout in the customizer,
the sidebar is displayed.
But also on my Blog site !!!!

Do you have a solution for this issue?
Why you don’t integrate a own Woocommerce site template on your themes?
(Also a Woocommerce widget area. I already write you the wishes on:
)
BUT NOTHING HAPPENS!
The answer is always: “Please contact to your developer”.
This is, why i pay for premium support??
Is this a joke

Hi Wolfgang,

WooCommerce product category, posts, post categories and post tags pages works as archive page so for the archive page you have to set the layout setting via Appearance > Customize > Ambition Theme Options > Content Layout to any of the layout that you wish. You can not set different layouts for different archive pages and we have designed the theme this way.

For to set a different sidebar for WooCommerce it needs code customization you have to hire a developer as this is a new feature to add in the theme. Hope we may add this feature in near future too but can not able to give you a fixed date.
