Hi,
I would like to be able to chose Posts instead of Pages in the Recent Work widget. I have registered a Custom widget in my child theme’s functions.php file, but I can’t seem to figure out how to get it to show posts in the Dropdown Menus. If I change the array on line 307 of interface widgets to ‘posts’ instead of pages it will show posts, but it shows ALL the posts (it does this with pages as well if you don’t select any pages). I can still select only pages in the widget menus and therefore can’t show anything but all the posts.
Anyone got any insights?

We have designed our theme this way. you can filter it by category too to display only the category. You need code customisation. For more reference
