Thanks to your help in another thread, I was able to upload the header logo for my site (http://www.readingforpleasure.net/). However, there is a little more white space in that section than I would like, and it’s pushed the slider farther down on the page. Is there a way to remove some of the white?

I’m about as far from an expert as they come but as I’ve had so much great help from the forums I’m trying to give something back!

    padding-bottom: 0px;
    padding-top: 0px;
}

You could try pasting that code into Theme Options > Custom CSS. If you’re trying to achieve what I think you’re trying to achieve it should hopefully work. See my website here where I did a similar thing.

Hi. I was directed to this thread after asking via email the same question as Maria.

When I put the css code into Theme Options > Custom CSS, it made the space on top smaller, but there’s still some there, about 45px. I tried adding a negative margin-top to the CSS rule, but it had no effect.

Any idea what it might be?
