Hi. I have been trying to get the same revolution slider effect that you have displayed on your live preview with the slider/slogan background running the width of the page and below the rev. slider. Also, when I have the theme option set to “wide” the rev.slider also is stretched out across the page which I do not want.
1. How do I get the background image to go beyond the bottom of the slider? and 2. How do I maintain the smaller container size of the slider when in “wide” mode? Thanks for your help.

You do not have to set the site layout to wide layout make it as it was in default and to set the background image behind the slider login to your WP dashboard and Go to Apperance -> Theme Options -> Advance Options -> Slogan/ Slider Background Image there you can set the background easily.
Thank you!

The slogan background image will only show above the rev slider and without going to “wide” layout, the rest of the page elements will not extend across to fill the screen.

I am having a similar issue of not being able to have a full width background image in the slider.
Your advice of “Go to Apperance -> Theme Options -> Advance Options -> Slogan/ Slider Background Image” seems to be outdated as there is not currently a Slogan/Slider Background Image option in that section;
Please advise.
Thanks,

Sorry! Which theme you are using? We have replied for Ultimate Pro theme and you are inside Ultimate Pro forum.
There is an option to have a full width background image in the Ultimate Pro theme above screenshot is not of Ultimate Pro theme.
Also provide us your site URL so that we can look into your site.Thank you!

After banging my head against it for a while I figured out that the slider that is on there by default is not the revolution slider, so it needs to be disabled and a revolution slider installed for it to achieve the full width background effect.
Can I just say how helpful it would have been to include that little point in the documentation?
Could have saved me a couple of hours.September 14, 2015 at 7:04 am #28221Theme Horse Support TeamKeymasterSorry @mgretzinger Yes by default revolution slider is not activated, you need to disabled the default one and activate the revolution slider to achieve the full width background effect.
Thank you!

September 15, 2015 at 6:53 am #28269Theme Horse Support TeamKeymasterHi Mgretzinger,
By the way we have attached it before 1.0.3 version But according to WordPress.org policy Revolution Slider Plugin has been removed from version 1.0.3 because of non GPL code. You have to purchase it from the codecanyon.net individually.
If you purchase individually from codecanyon.net you will get good support as well as have automatic update feature so that you do not have to headache each and every time to update the plugin.
Revolution Slider Plugin is used in the demos are purely for demonstration purposes, and are used to give the visitor a functional preview of what the theme will look like once content has been added.
Thank you!
