The slider used to be attached to the menu bar but now for some reason, there’s a gap between the slider and the menu bar now.

Also, could you help make the slider appear across the page. It used to be this way, but now the “subscribe to our newsletter” is blocking it.

Please use it as

Login to your dashboard and Go to Appearance > Theme Options > Featured Post/Page Slider Tab > Slider Options there you will see the select slider type option select Revolution Slider and Save it then at the bottom there you will also see the revolution slider options choose your slider from the drop down box and save it.
You can also see the screenshot to set the revolution slider.
