Is there a way to customise the background colour of the slider?

Can you post link to your site and elaborate more. Also are you using default slider or rev slider.

On the homepage the background colour of the slider is white, I would rather it was transparent or I could change to a different colour.

@Sian In the dashboard, go to Appearance->Theme Options->Design Options Tab->Custom CSS. Paste the following css and click on ‘Save all Changes’. This will change the background color of slider.

}
