How do I show list of items inside the “Theme Horse: Featured Recent Work”? It seems to ignore all mark-ups. Please advise.

Do you want to add the recent work widgets as in our demo site? First please visit theme instruction

Also to have recent work as in our demo site. First of all create some page such as CREATIVE IDEA, SOCIAL MEDIA, SOUND ENGINEER etc from dashboard -> pages. Add title, description and featured image on your specific page.

Then after goto dashboard -> appearance -> widgets -> drag and drop featured recent works widgets to business page section. Select the three page that you have created from drop down of recent page widgets. Also add title, description, text, url on this widgets. Then you will have as in our demo site.

Yes, I understand how to create the widget. My question is when i use the “li” tag in the content, it is not recognized by the widget. It is just showing as one long sentence in the front page.

Yes exactly. There will not be display any html tags. Only the plain tag will be added as we have validated it for security purpose. If you like to have html tags then it needs code customization. Sorry for this.
