Dear sir or madam,

some time ago we licensed your premium theme Ambition Pro. We use the theme for six WordPress websites. In three of them the theme got updated to version v1.0.7 meanwhile. But in the other three the theme remains on v1.0.6 and we do not find any possibility to trigger the update. WordPress simplay doesn’t offer the update.
Also we don’t want to uninstall and reinstall the whole theme with a fresh download since we don’t want to risk the loose of all settings.
What else can we do to do the update?

Hi Peter,

We have currently Ambition Pro version 1.0.7. We don’t have automatic update. You have to manually update it. Download ambition pro latest version from your account page and remove old version and install a new version.

If you have not made any code customization in your site then no worry. Your content and settings nothing will be lost while installing fresh download. If there is code customisation in the theme file then we always recommended you to create a child theme so that while updating to new version your customized code will not be lost. So better make a child theme if any changes is required in the theme
