Hi, I have a website which is customised for a client using the Attitude theme. I’d like to upgrade it to the pro version but as it’s a content heavy site, I need to be certain that it will upgrade gracefully. I’m already using a child theme for it but what are the risks?

Hi djelal,
If you have used the child theme and no changes in parent theme then there is not risk of data loss. But if you have changed something in parent theme then surely data will be lost.

Is the Pro version an upgrade of the free theme or is it an entirely new theme which I will then have to customise?
If it’s a new theme, I don’t think I could just transfer across the child theme could I?

Would be great if I could get some feedback from others who have upgraded.

if you upgrade to pro theme then you need to create a child theme from Pro theme too. Hope for others feedback too.
