after I activated my Attitude Pro Theme the following warnings showed up at the top of the admin site.

It looks like there is issue with some hosting and our update notifier system. Thanks.

I am certainly not trying to be negative but, since this is obviously happening again, are you saying I am banking my entire business on your update notifier system?
I love the theme and have spent countless hours rebuilding my website, Which is no small task I might add, only to get this error which is causing me to not be able to work today. It’s also very concerning to me that once I have completed the change of my theme and activated it on my live website that this can happen again?
How can I remove the them update notifier. Once I flip my site over, I do not want to be reminded of any updates and since I am not using a child them I wont ever do any updates.
I appreciate your help in this matter.

December 30, 2013 at 7:41 am #5862Sanjip ShahParticipant@patmatt69 Firstly, we are sorry for the inconvenience that have arisen due to the warning messages. We will be fixing this permanently in our updates. In your case if you want not to get the update messages ever then go to the theme folder. Open the functions.php file.
Locate the following line
require_once( ATTITUDE_FUNCTIONS_DIR . '/update_notifier.php' );
and replace it with following.
//require_once( ATTITUDE_FUNCTIONS_DIR . '/update_notifier.php' );
This will exclude the update notifier file from running. -
